more…Apple is about to begin a big update to Apple Maps in the UK. The company revealed its plans to iMore on Tuesday, saying that it is kickstarting an eight-month project in the UK to collect new data and imagery to improve the Apple Maps experience in the country.

more…Qi2 is the latest wireless charging standard the Wireless Power Consortium developed, incorporating Magnetic Power Profile (MPP) based on Apple’s MagSafe technology. This ensures accurate alignment and faster charging speeds of up to 15 watts – significantly improving the existing standard. Qi2 is backward compatible, allowing older Qi devices to charge on Qi2 chargers at slower speeds. Qi2 was designed to unify wireless charging standards globally, with all manufacturers expected to adopt it in future devices. The is now my default Qi2/MagSafe charger for my laptop bag for travel.
