MEET A NOT-SO-ORDINARY NUN
INDIKA is a third-person, story-driven game set in a strange world where religious visions clash with harsh reality. It tells the story of a young nun who sets off on a journey of self-discovery with the most unusual, horn-headed companion by her side.
On the outside, Indika seems to be a typical nun attempting to adjust to a difficult and monotonous monastery life. Humble and innocent in her appearance, do not be deceived as this young girl has also made a highly unlikely acquaintance—as she speaks with the devil himself.
Indika’s unusual connection with the Evil One leads her on an errand beyond the safe walls of the monastery. The world she discovers can only be described as a wild combination of comedy and tragedy straight out of the novels by Dostoyevski and Bulhakov.
ENJOY AN INDIE GAME WHERE EVERYTHING GOES
The subjects of religion and authority are prevalent throughout Indika’s journey and she’ll be faced with many questions along the way. Guide her to find the answers one by one before she can finish her life-defining odyssey.
Odd Meter is a small, independent studio formerly based in Moscow and now operating out of Kazakhstan. Its members put aesthetics at the forefront and aren’t afraid to tread the fine line of ethical norms. Their game is a great testament to that, as INDIKA constitutes an open challenge to the industry’s established approach to creating video games.

幾個月前，Humane、Rabbit 兩家新創公司陸續推出他們的人工智慧設備——Ai Pin和Rabbit R1。當時獲得業界普遍好評，認為未來穿戴式的AI裝置將取代手機，成為AI時代的新寵。
最初，有些人認為這些設備將開創穿戴式人工智慧的新時代。然而，幾個月過去了，這兩款產品都被批為「半成品」，也都沒有當初宣傳時的好用。
什麼是Rabbit R1其中Rabbit R1 是一款由新創公司 Rabbit Technologies 推出的 AI 原生裝置，外觀小巧，採用 2.88 吋觸控螢幕，搭載 2.3GHz MediaTek 聯發科處理器、4GB＋128GB 儲存空間、可順暢執行任務一整天的 1000mAh 電池，並支援 4G 和 Wi-Fi 連接功能。
Rabbit R1 的主打特色是其採用了基於大型行動模型（Large Action Model，簡稱 LAM）所構建的操作系統 rabbitOS，使用者以聲控的方式對 Rabbit R1 下達指令，加入 Spotify、Uber 等服務帳號，還能進一步執行音樂播放、叫車、訂餐、旅遊規劃，甚至根據冰箱中的食材建議低卡料理食譜等等服務。
Rabbit R1的售價199美元，約台幣6500元，在上市24小時內就賣出了1萬台。而據統計目前至少已經賣了超過10萬台。
不過後來根據買家在上手體驗中，這款小工具的確可以做一些事情，比如與大型語言模型（LLM）對話以獲得問題的答案，給物體拍照以獲得相關資訊，從 Spotify 上播放音樂，從 Uber 上叫車，或從 Doordash 上訂餐，但基本上僅此而已。
根本沒有 rabbitOS，這就是一台只執行一個應用程式的Android裝置如果像 Rabbit R1 這樣的人工智慧小工具所能做的一切都可以通過 Android 的應用程式來複製，那麼這些公司為什麼不乾脆發佈一個應用程式，而不是發佈一個售價數百美元、需要單獨的移動資料計畫才能使用、電池續航能力很差的硬體呢？
事實證明，Rabbit 正是這樣做的......
原來，Rabbit R1 背後運行的似乎是 Android 系統，而使用者與之互動的整個介面都僅僅一個 Android 應用程式提供支援。
一位爆料者與將Rabbit R1的啟動器 APK傳送給外媒，外媒表示，他們成功地將這個APK安裝到了不同的Android 手機上，特別是 Pixel 6a。
安裝完成後，就可以將 Android 手機設定為 Rabbit R1。手機上的音量加鍵與 Rabbit R1 的硬體鍵相對應，這樣就可以通過設定嚮導，建立一個「兔子洞」帳戶，並開始與人工智慧助手對話。
由於 Rabbit R1 的螢幕比 Pixel 6a 小得多，解析度也低得多，因此主螢幕幕介面只會佔據手機螢幕的一小部分。儘管如此，還是能夠向人工智慧助手提問，就像在使用真正的 Rabbit R1 硬體一樣。
外媒表示，雖然沒有對 Spotify 整合、Vision 等其他功能進行測試，但如果其中某些功能無法正常工作我們也不會感到驚訝，Rabbit R1 的啟動器應用程式是預裝在韌體中的，並被授予了多項系統級權限，而我們只能授予其中的一些權限，因此如果我們嘗試的話，有些功能很可能會失效。
儘管如此，這個應用程式能在一般手機上正常運行的事實還是很搞笑，這也證明了一個事實，那就是很多小眾硬體產品的核心，其實沒有什麼太大的玄機，都是運行在修改版的 AOSP 上。

在外型輕量設計上，Viper 系列向來不讓人失望，筆者目前使用的 Razer Viper V2 Pro 重量為 59 克，因為輕盈好握，即使不在遊戲中使用，也成為主力的滑鼠。而 Razer Viper V3 Pro 又更輕了，黑色為 54 克，白色為 55 克，但外型反而較 Razer Viper V2 Pro 略大一些，也就是體積變大，重量卻更輕盈，更適合中大手玩家們使用。且更重要的是，整體的組裝品質相當好，不因為輕盈而有鼠身脆弱的手感。

Razer Viper V3 Pro 的外型也與 Razer Viper V2 Pro 有些不同，看起來較像去年中推出的 Razer Viper V3 HyperSpeed，鼠身的線條較為筆直，左右鍵也是長方型的設計，乍看起來並不像電競滑鼠，且雖然採用對稱手型的設計，但是按鍵仍然是配置在左側，因此還是比較適合右手使用者。

而 Viper V3 Pro 的鼠身高度也較 Viper V2 Pro 略高一些，高點也偏向後方，因此與左右鍵的角度會較大一些，不過這倒不影響整體的握感，因為角度是由分析多數人的使用接觸點後，所精算出的結果，不管是在指尖握或是抓握兩種使用方式，都能提供最佳化的支撐。以筆者習慣的抓握方式來看，Viper V3 Pro 會讓手掌較為躬起，以包覆鼠身的位置。另外，滑鼠的重心比較偏向前側下方，因為與後方有明顯的重量差異，在遊戲中甩槍較不會出現慣性飄移。

而 Razer Viper V3 Pro 也是 Razer 產品系列中，第一款採用 85% 消費後再生回收塑膠的電腦周邊設備。以此款白色的 Viper V3 Pro 來看，鼠身的材質為類皮革漆塗層，觸感光滑溫潤，但不會滑手，而 Viper V2 Pro 則帶有磨砂感，至於白色的抗污耐髒效果如何？以白色 Viper V2 Pro 使用一年與新款 Viper V3 Pro 相比，倒是沒有太明顯的歲月痕跡，且手汗流下的污漬，也很容易擦拭乾淨。

採用 Razer 第二代 Focus Pro 35K光學感測器，靈敏度最高可提供 35,000DPI，並可偵測最高 750IPS 的移動速度以及 70G 的加速度，並配備人工智慧功能，強化智慧追蹤、動作同步和非對稱中斷。另外，還新增 DPI 靈敏度配對功能，以 1DPI 為單位進行細微調整，讓新入手 Viper V3 Pro 的用戶，可以延續原本的使用習慣。
至於鼠身上的左右鍵，採用 Razer 第三代光學滑鼠按鍵軸，以紅外線觸發，反應時間較快、低延遲，也不會有連點的問題，且 Viper V3 Pro 的按鍵回彈感與 Viper V2 Pro 不同，手感較像有阻力的彈性，而 Viper V2 Pro 按下的手感則偏硬。
另外中央滾輪也較 Viper V2 Pro 大一些，滾輪部分表面採用刻度明顯的紋路設計，可減少手滑機會，再加上滾動力量適中，可提供更精確的滾軸操作。而在滾輸上方則是為 DPI 指示燈，在切換 DPI 時會依照使用的 DPI 不同，亮起不同的顏色，用戶也可以在 Razer Synapse 軟體中進行設定。

Razer Viper V3 Pro 無線模組支援 8,000Hz 輪詢率也是一大特色，搭配 Razer HyperPolling 無線傳輸器可提供更精確的滑鼠靈敏度和反應速率。由於 Razer 的 HyperPolling 技術是針對自家的無線滑鼠與鍵盤設計，能夠將輪詢率從常規的 1,000Hz 提升到最高 8,000Hz，並將延遲由 1 毫秒降低到 1/8 毫秒，以提供高反應速度的需求。過去，大都需要額外購買 Razer HyperPolling 無線傳輸器，而在 Viper V3 Pro 上， 8,000Hz 輪詢率的 Hyperpolling 技術已為標準配備。

不過，雖然 8,000Hz 輪詢率可帶來更精準的反應速度，但輪詢率高低也會影響電池續航力，根據規格上的標示，Viper V3 Pro 在 1,000Hz 時，續航力可達 95 小時，而在 8,000 Hz 下，續航力則降為 17 小時，因此，使用者可依需求在續航力與輪詢率間彈性調整。
在輪詢率的測試中，將 Razer Blade 16 螢幕更新率設定在 240Hz，並接上 HyperPolling Wireless Dongle，以及關閉背景程式下，開啟 Razer 官網提供的測試程式，設定於 8,000Hz 下，以繞圈的方式移動滑鼠約一分鐘，在正常速度移動下，可見大都可以維持在近 8,000Hz，表示 Razer Viper V3 Pro 確實具有8,000Hz 輪詢率的水準。

- 產品設計 ：鼠身採用對稱的線條設計，但只提供左側按鍵，還是較適合右手使用，而維持輕量化的設計下，重量再創新底，只有55克，十分輕盈，且整體的組裝品質相當好，不因為輕盈而有鼠身較為脆弱的手感。
- 硬體規格 ：採用 Razer第二代的 Focus Pro 35K 光學感測器，提供最高35,000 DPI 靈敏度，最快加速度為70G，再加上支援 8,000Hz 輪詢率也是一大特色，帶來精準又靈敏的特色。不過，8,000Hz 輪詢率下，也需要較高的電力，且也得搭配電腦及遊戲的設定來達到最高的效益。

特斯拉CEO馬斯克(Elon Musk)裁員計畫的最新一批受害者出爐：暑期實習生。就在他們的實習期還有幾週就要開始的時候，特斯拉突然撤銷了他們的工作邀請。
「上午8點46分，我打開了特斯拉的電子郵件，還在查看航班資訊。到上午11點25分時，我的實習offer就沒了。」邁阿密大學的學生約書亞·施賴伯(Joshua Schreiber)寫道。他說，自己的實習期還有三週就要開始，他已經在房子上花了數千美元。
和許多其他準特斯拉實習生一樣，施賴伯的學年即將結束，時間已經很緊迫。他們說，特斯拉突然打電話通知學生，他們的offer不再有效，這讓他們沒有足夠的時間來尋找替代暑期實習機會。
為此，特斯拉的一名現任員工，在特斯拉從事電池供應工作的戴安娜·羅森伯格(Diana Rosenberg)在LinkedIn上發文，呼籲其他公司幫忙錄用一名原本即將開始在特斯拉實習的學生。「請把我們的損失變成你的收穫!」
羅森伯格把特斯拉撤銷實習生offer的原因歸咎於特斯拉正在進行的大規模裁員。上月，馬斯克宣佈全球裁員逾10%。隨著馬斯克持續裁員，多位高層已經離職。特斯拉擁有500人的超級充電部門悉數被裁，新成立的行銷部門也被砍掉。

圖片呈現了仙人掌的典型棲息地與冰的存在之間的視覺矛盾，因為在沙漠環境中自然不會出現冰。這種矛盾的類似例子可能是一隻北極熊出現在熱帶雨林中，因為北極熊適應於寒冷、覆蓋著冰的環境，在炎熱潮濕的氣候中無法生存。這種並置創造了一個引人注目且超現實的視覺效果，挑戰觀眾的期待，並可能引發人們對氣候變化、環境適應或不同生態系統融合的思考。
同時，正如 ChatGPT+DALL・E 3 的夢幻結合一樣，Mini-Gemini 的“推理生成”功能還可以在多輪對話中通過簡單指令生成連環小故事。
比方說，讓它根據使用者輸入講一個貴族小老鼠的故事，Mini-Gemini 會根據前文的文字生成結果和使用者輸入進行推理，在保持一致性的情況下對圖片進行修改，使其更符合使用者的要求。
當然，Mini-Gemini 對於多模態模型的傳統技能圖表理解也不在話下。比方讓模型理解輸入曲線圖的數學意義（高斯分佈），並讓它使用程式碼復現這張圖，通過運行生成的程式碼，模型可以高品質地還原曲線圖，節省了復現的時間。
又或者讓 Mini-Gemini 理解梗圖，通過其強大的 OCR 和推理能力，也可以精準指出笑點。
在另一個案例中，Mini-Gemini 除了理解梗圖本身，甚至推測了製作者的深層意圖。
高解析複雜的多圖表理解和歸納也是小菜一碟，Mini-Gemini 直接秒變打工人效率提升的超級外掛。
那麼問題來了，Mini-Gemini 是怎樣做到這種驚豔的效果呢？
核心在於三點：
(1) 用於高解析圖像的雙編碼器機制
(2) 更高品質的資料
(3) 訓練階段結合生成模型資料拓展
大道至簡，Mini-Gemini 的整體思路並不複雜。其中的 Gemini（雙子座) 表達的是使用視覺雙分支的資訊挖掘（Mining-Info in Gemini）解決高解析圖像理解問題。
詳細來說，Mini-Gemini 將傳統所使用的 ViT 當做低解析度的 Query，而使用摺積網路（ConvNet）將高解析度的圖像編碼成 Key 和 Value。
使用 Transformer 中常用的 Attention 機制，來挖掘每個低解析度 Query 所對應的高解析度區域。從而在保持最終視覺 Token 數目不變的情況下去提升對高解析圖像的響應，保證了在大型語言模型（LLM）中對於高解析圖像的高效編碼。
值得一提的是，由於高解析度分支摺積網路的使用，可以根據需要對圖像所需的解析度自適應調整。對於圖像的生成部分，Mini-Gemini 借助了 SDXL，使用 LLM 推理後所生成的文字連結兩個模型，類似於 DALL・E 3 的流程。
對於資料，Mini-Gemini 進一步收集並最佳化了訓練資料的品質，並加入了跟生成模型結合的文字資料進行訓練。在僅使用 2-3M 資料的情況下，實現了對圖像理解、推理和生成的統一流程。
Mini-Gemini 在各種 Zero-shot 的榜單上毫不遜色於各種大廠用大量資料訓練出來的模型。

可以看出，Mini-Gemini 提供了多種普通和高解析版本的模型，各個版本都取得了相似參數量下領先的效果，在許多指標上甚至超越 Gemini Pro 和 GPT-4V。

Kia 正不斷增加 EV 電動家族陣容，目前已推出 EV6、EV9 與 EV5 等車，其中 EV5 近日中國工信部就曝光 EV5 GT 規格，而關於 EV5 目前已在中國市場推出，提供 64.2kWh 具有 530 公里續航里程、215hp 及 730 公里長里程和 313hp 馬力、650 公里、88kWh 電池的雙馬達四驅車型，去年底則進一步推出海外版 EV5，其中電池改為 58kWh 與 81kWh。
至於近日工信部曝光的 EV5 就讓人懷疑是否真是 EV5 GT 車型，首先圖片無法清楚辨識車尾銘牌是 GT 還是 GT-Line，再來該車沒有配置象徵 GT 車型的螢光綠卡鉗，而動力 313hp 也和先前四驅車型相同，這部份似乎與 GT 有所落差，因此不免讓人猜想應該可能會是 EV5 GT-Line 車型。

艾爾-沙萊赫在週二的財務電話會議上表示：「我們將打造更強大、更廣泛的多軌道網路能力。我們不僅是一家地球同步軌道公司，我們是一家服務所有軌道的公司。」
來自地球靜止軌道衛星（如Viasat的衛星）的網路訊號，通常延遲約600毫秒。艾爾-沙萊赫表示，SES在中地球軌道的O3b網路提供的訊號延遲約為120毫秒。根據SpaceX的資料，星鏈的延遲介於25到60毫秒之間。
衛星界的先鋒：IntelsatIntelsat 擁有悠久的歷史。它成立於 1964 年，最初是一個政府間組織，是第一家在地球靜止軌道經營商業通訊衛星的公司。 2001 年，它成為一家私營公司，然後在 2013 年上市，但不幸在 2020 年申請破產。Intelsat於2022年從破產重組後重新成為私營公司。

艾爾-沙萊赫在週二的財務電話會議上表示：「我們將打造更強大、更廣泛的多軌道網路能力。我們不僅是一家地球同步軌道公司，我們是一家服務所有軌道的公司。」
來自地球靜止軌道衛星（如Viasat的衛星）的網路訊號，通常延遲約600毫秒。艾爾-沙萊赫表示，SES在中地球軌道的O3b網路提供的訊號延遲約為120毫秒。根據SpaceX的資料，星鏈的延遲介於25到60毫秒之間。
衛星界的先鋒：IntelsatIntelsat 擁有悠久的歷史。它成立於 1964 年，最初是一個政府間組織，是第一家在地球靜止軌道經營商業通訊衛星的公司。 2001 年，它成為一家私營公司，然後在 2013 年上市，但不幸在 2020 年申請破產。Intelsat於2022年從破產重組後重新成為私營公司。
「在過去的兩年裡，Intelsat 團隊執行了卓越的戰略調整，」Intelsat 首席執行長大衛·瓦茲格拉斯（David Wajsgras）在一份聲明中表示。 「我們扭轉了 10 年來的負增長趨勢，重新實現增長，制定了全新且顛覆性的技術路線圖，並專注於提高生產力和執行力，以提供具備競爭力的能力。」
SES和Intelsat預計此次收購將在2025年下半年完成，但前提是獲得管理部門的批准。兩家公司的董事會都一致通過了這項交易。
這兩家公司每年都與美國政府保持著數億美元的業務往來，軍方對商用衛星通信的需求正在上升。艾爾-沙萊赫說：「我認為許多衛星電信商都看到了其中的好處，不僅僅是我們，」他說，「你可以看看我們的競爭對手，比如 Starlink，還有其他公司。我們都看到了需求的增長。」
艾爾-沙萊赫表示，他預計在明年完成交易之前，都不會遇到來自五角大樓或任何政府監管機構的障礙。
SES和Intelsat去年透露，他們正在就合併進行談判。根據艾爾-沙萊赫的說法，SES考慮了多個合併或收購機會，以利用聯邦通信委員會因衛星C頻譜拍賣而獲得的數十億美元資金。
「對我們來說很清楚，如果我們能成功達成這筆交易，並獲得適當的價值，那麼這筆交易就是我們所有選項中最具吸引力的一項，」 他說。
